Launched: Entry-level Blackview E7s with fingerprint scanner, Android 6.0

Blackview E7s

It seems as though there’s still some MT6580 phones to come, despite the MT6737 starting to show up at a similar budget. Blackview seem to be one of these companies vested in the MT6580.

Their next, the Blackview E7s, is all set to feature the entry-level SoC. We’ve just received info about this phone, which include full specs (well, almost). Keep reading for the info.

Blackview E7s Specifications

  • 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720p resolution
  • MT6580 processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB ROM
  • 2 mega-pixel front facing camera
  • 8 mega-pixel rear camera
  • 2700mAh battery
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • Rear-mounted fingerprint sensor

It’s learnt that the Blackview E7s will have a 2.5D curved glass covered 5.5-inch with a 1280 x 720p HD resolution, the aforementioned MT6580 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM, a 2 mega-pixel front facing camera, an 8 mega-pixel rear camera, and a 2700mAh battery.

Moreover, the phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. A quick hands on video of the phone (along with a comparison with its predecessor) can be viewed below:

What do you think? Clearly, the phone isn’t a jump in specs from the E7. Which is why , it’ll be interesting to see how much it costs! The brand seems to have a few more phones coming, which you can check here.

WoW, another MT6580 phone with awful cameras, at least it`s good for browsing and watching videos.

You are right, this phone is no for gamers. It is for simple everyday use.

      • October 11, 2016

Although lots of games run perfectly fine on the MT6580.

I think Blackview should stop making 2 new models every month and fix their buggy phones that are already out…

I have a Blackview BV2000s (as a second phone) and it sucks very much.

Anything more than $29.99 for this toilet paper roll is money wasted.

mt6737 is almost at the same price, I don’t get why they still go for this underpowered 6582 (2013 SoC)

In my country still no 4G support. This budget SOC is not overpriced like other.

Hi guys, am a budget shoper, currently I own a doogee x5,(mt5680,1GB/8GB, android 5.1) looking for an upgrade.mild camera&gaming and battery life is what am after, Between, cubot X16, doogee y300, elephone trunk. The 1st 2 I love coz of the glass body design, but skeptical of mt 6735 and 35p on y300, vs the SD 410 on the elephone trunk. For 720p gaming how does the mtk compare to the SD?They all cost 130,100&110$ respectively, from my local dealer.
    .which should I choose?

At that budge I would rather look for the Mi4C, LeEco le1 or even an old but still capable LG G2.
