Bluboo Dual official specifications revealed

Bluboo Dual

We have seen a fair share of leaks and rumors about the upcoming Bluboo Dual in the past days and weeks, but that ends today. Because we have finally in hand the official release specifications so we know exactly what’s this dual camera phone packing. And get ready for at least one disappointment.

But for starters let’s take a look at the metal unibody from brushed aircraft grade aluminum alloy, nothing to complain about here at all, looks are spot on. And with a Dual name you need to have dual cameras, but ehm we probably hoped for something better than 13 Mpix primary one with Sony IMX135 sensor paired with 2 Mpix subsidiary one. In theory the primary camera captures the image and the secondary captures the depth information. Dual LED flash is a bonus and f/2.0 aperture sounds good too, but i can’t help it to be really expecting something more. Front single camera is then 5 Mpix sensor wide angle lens interpolated to 8 Mpix.

Another suprise comes with the processor, because you can quickly forget about the Kirin 960 rumors, Bluboo Dual is going the full budget route with quad-core MT6737T processor clocket at 1,5 GHz, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage up to 256 GB. Front panel has a 5,5-inch Sharp screen with FullHD resolution, Gorilla Glass 4, advance two-layer touch panel with 10-point multitouch support and reacting to gloved or wet hand.

Rest of the noteworthy specifications of Bluboo Dual include a gyroscope, OTG support, dual hybrid SIM slot, 3000 mAh Sony battery, rear Smart Touch ID fingerprint scanner, GPS + Glonass and Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS.

Why wouldn’t you just buy the LeEco Cool1 Dual for the same price and get a better processor, better build, more RAM, more ROM etc..?

At Least Oukitel were honest with their U20 Plus, they didn’t promise all this bullshit and are offering almost the same thing minus the metal body for less than 100$

Well with 3GB RAM + 32/64GB ROM and Android Nougat they could have asked 250 EUR for it. But this way it is useless.
