Evan Blass or evleaks is a popular leaker within the Android community. In these past few years, he’s managed to leak multiple devices from different companies with almost perfect accuracy. So when he says the Mate 9 will come to the US, there’s a big chance he’s right.

Gizchina News of the week

Now the Huawei Mate 9 is technically already available for purchase in the States via Amazon. Well, this could mean US carriers have taken interest in offering the device to customers. The launch’s purpose in this case will be to hype up the device for consumers.

The date in particular is quite interesting since it coincides with the first day of CES 2017. This can only mean Huawei wants to release the Mate 9 at CES, which will garner plenty of attention. Attention they’ll need if they hope to challenge Samsung and Apple in the US.

Whether the Huawei Mate 9 will be a success in the US remains to be seen, though we predict it’ll at least do decently. Do you think Huawei’s Mate 9 will do good once it’s offered by US carriers? Tell us down below.
