Xiaomi has been aggressively expanding into so many areas, its getting quite difficult to remember all of it! The newest member of this now familiar sub-brand MIJIA is a Foldable electric scooter.

The scooter is made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. It’s available in black and white color options, while boasting a range of 30km while just weighing 12.5kgs. It’s powered by LG lithium-ion batteries that comes with a rated power of 250W (peak 500W), which gives this a top speed of 25km/hr.

The smart scooter can be operated by an app and at the press of a button it can fold from fully extended to portable in 3 seconds. It also features high brigthness LED’s as headlights and rear indication lights.

it also has other interesting features like an energy recovery system that uses the frount wheel to recover some of the power thus giving it the 30 km range.

And yes you do still get a classic bell right beside a turnable handle to accelerate and led indicators to show power left in the batteries.

The xiaomi scooter goes on sale 15th of December and is available only in China for now. No world on availability elsewhere.
