Nokia is gaining momentum. No one can deny this. But whether it could become popular in the world’s largest smartphone market still remains a mystery. Recently, HMD announced the Nokia X6, which had been designed for the Chinese market mainly. It’s a low-end handset with a few trendy features and a familiar design. Today, the phone has gone on sale, and it took only 10 seconds to get a status of ‘out of stock.’ Could this be a sign that Nokia is resurrecting?
In terms of design, the Nokia X6 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass put on both sides. The middle frame is made of aluminum alloy material. It’s an awesome smartphone in terms of ergonomics as well, coming with 147.23×70.96×7.99mm dimensions. So the single-hand operations won’t make any pressure on your palm. There are three color options to choose from – dark blue, polar white, and star black.
On the front, it uses a 5.8-inch full-screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels. The Nokia X6 is packed with a Snapdragon 636 chip, which in its turn, is coupled with a 4GB/6GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, and a 3060mAh battery.
Almost all phones from this category that were launched recently come with strong selfie-centric capabilities. The Nokia X6 is no exception. It sports a 16MP front camera with six kinds of studio lighting effects. Plus, this camera supports AI beauty blurring features and applies an intelligent 3D algorithm to provide intelligent portrait lighting, blurred images, and blurry depth of field. There is a dual-camera with 16+5MP sensors combination placed on the back. This camera supports EIS and focusing after taking photos.
The Nokia X6 4GB + 32GB is priced at 1299 yuan, the 4GB +64GB comes at 1499 yuan, and the 6GB +64GB model’s price is 1699 yuan.
