The Vivo NEX 3 hasn’t yet received an official launch date, however, it seems the company is preparing to debut the handset in India soon, according to a report by 91mobiles which cites top executives from the retail chain in the country as source of the information. The publication says that the handset will launch before the big festive occasion of Diwali that is right at the end of October. This means that we could possibly see the flagship NEX 3 in the Indian market by the third week of October. The China launch date is rumoured to be September 16th.
The Vivo NEX has already received a lot of attention, thanks to an unboxing by YouTuber Arun Maini on his channel MrWhosetheboss. There has also been a TENAA listing reported today to belong to the Vivo NEX 3. According to that, the NEX 3’s model number is V1923A and it has a massive 6.89-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with the Waterfall Screen. Being a flagship, expect a Snapdragon 855+with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of on-board storage. It has a 4,410mAh battery. There’s also a headphone jack and a 4G model that will likely come to India. And while rumours suggest it, but don’t expect 120W fast charging anytime soon.
