Tomorrow is a big day for Xiaomi. It will announce a variety of new products such as the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G, the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha, MIUI 11, etc. And though all three products are much-awaited, the new system of Xiaomi is what many Xiaomi/Redmi users are most concerned about. On this regard, today, Lu Weibing issued a statement through Weibo, saying the Redmi K20 series will soon upgrade to the new version of MIUI.
Lei Jun recently said that the Xiaomi Mi 8 can get MIUI 11 update as well. However, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G that is going to be the first handset with this new system will go on sale after one week of the release. Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of Redmi brand, also said that the Redmi K20 Pro exclusive version will be running on MIUI 11.
According to reports, MIUI11’s new slogan is ‘new sound, innovation efficiency’. The design has become simpler, reducing the time of learning. It removes redundant visual symbols and puts more emphasis on information and content. The dynamic sound effects of MIUI 11 are way better now. As for now, some new features leaked on the web again. They show the personalized signature, screencasting, font size and thickness settings, file management support, dynamic screen kaleidoscope, smart travel, notification light effects, new Xiaomi mutual transmission and so on.
At present, MIUI 11 team has announced several functions such as children’s space, SOS for help and earthquake warning, and so on. We also know MIUI 11 will slow down the transition animation to make it perform smoother.
