Huawei To Launch Huawei Mobile Service In Europe Through Honor V30

HMS

IT Home has learned from people familiar with the matter that Honor will release the Honor V30 series smartphone equipped with HMS service (Huawei Mobile Service) to the European market next week. This will also be Huawei’s first pre-installed HMS ecosystem smartphone.

The Honor V30 came to the Chinese market at the end of last year. This is Honor’s first 5G smartphone. The Honor V30 will use HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) instead of GMS (Google Mobile Services). This is also the first pre-installed HMS officially launched by Huawei since being added to the ‘Entity List’ by the United States in May last year.

Earlier media reported that after Google responded to the US government’s ‘Entity List’ call to ban the provision of GMS services to Huawei smartphones, Huawei accelerated its own ecological construction of HMS. HMS is a collection of Huawei cloud service open capabilities. It is a cross-platform, cross-device service. The official launch of HMS means that Huawei has complete ecological capabilities.

Gizchina News of the week

Just a few days ago, Turkish Telecom has signed an agreement with Huawei to use Huawei’s mobile service ecosystem to serve its customers. For Huawei, this is the first step for HMS services in overseas markets. Not only that, operators in Turkey are also going to sell 1 million smartphones with Huawei mobile service applications in 2020.

It is reported that Honor originally planned to release this news and other products at the MWC conference. As the conference is canceled, Honor will still hold a separate media event for this important release.
