A couple of days ago, Oppo’s upcoming smartphone, Ace 2, appeared on TENAA. Now, Oppo’s VP, Shen Yiren has revealed more information about this new device. According to him, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 is expected to be officially released on April 13. In addition, he also said that Oppo Find X2 series video frame insertion technology will support more video applications soon. This means that its high frame rates will also be suitable for more games.
Oppo Reno Ace 2 is coming
Although Shen Yiren was not very specific with the launch date, we are expecting this device on April 13 for now. According to speculations, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 will come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a screen resolution of 2400 × 1080. It will be available in black, blue, purple and other color schemes. The body size is 160.0 × 75.4 × 8.6mm and weighs 185 grams. Furthermore, its processor clocks 2.8GHz, and this phone will use up to 8GB or 12GB of RAM. For the storage, it will have up to 128GB or 256GB as well as Android 10 OS.
In terms of cameras, the Oppo Reno Ace 2 5G will come with a 16-megapixel front camera. On the rear, it will have a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel configuration. Its rear camera setup will support 4K video shooting. According to previous reports, Oppo Reno Ace 2 will come with an IMX586 camera.
According to the TENAA documents, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 will use a punch-hole screen design. The camera hole is located in the upper left corner. It uses a regular flat screen instead of a curved-screen that is quite popular currently. In addition, we can also confirm the use of the ‘Oreo’ shape of the rear camera. The circle on the back includes four camera sensors. According to some sources, the machine supports 65W super flash charging as well as wireless VOOC flash charging. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of a higher power. A new record in the charging speed and charging power may be set again.
