After officially revealing the Galaxy A31 smartphone, Samsung is now planning to bring the all-new smarthone to the Indian market. The chaebol recently confirmed the official launch date of the device via its web page. Apart from revealing the launch date, the teaser also showcases the design and specifications of the phone. As per the official webpage, Samsung will launch its Galaxy A31 smartphone in India on June 4. The South Korean giant will host an online launch event which interested people can watch. Furthermore, there is a notify button on the page that you can use to receive the latest update. Coming to the expected pricing, we don’t have any concrete information at the time of writing this.

There have been certain reports citing that the device might arrive with INR 23,000 (i.e. roughly $300) price tag. It is worth noting that this pricing is cited for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. We migh also see the only 6GB RAM variant launching in India. In terms of availability, the device will be up for grabs via both offline and online retailers. With that said, we might hear more information on the pricing aspect of the device in the coming days.

Since the device recently was revealed, we know everything about the Galaxy A31 smartphone. To recall, Samsung Galaxy A31 is equipped with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display panel with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The display comes with a waterdrop notch featuring somewhat thin bezels and a sizeable chin. Under the hood, the device runs on MediaTek Helio P65 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory. If that’s not enough, then you can expand the storage via microSD card slot.

For optics, we’re looking at a quad rear camera module at the back featuring an LED flash as well. The module consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, we’re looking at a 20MP front shooter. Backed by 5,000 mAh battery, the device supports 15W fast charging and uses Android 10 with One UI 2.0 skin as its software. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. Other specifications include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port.
