Motorola One Fusion

Motorola is gearing up for the launch of a new pop-up camera smartphone in India. The company will unveil the Motorola One Fusion+ on June 16th in the country as per Flipkartā€™s teaser page. Considering its on-paper specifications, it’s one of the more interesting mid-range products to be launching in the country this year

Earlier today, Motorola started teasing the launch of a new device. Following that, Flipkart has opened a teaser page revealing it as the One Fusion+. The device is shown in two colour variants – Blue and White.

There is a pop-up selfie camera in the front meaning the smartphone will have a full-screen display without any notch. On the back, there is a quad-camera setup along with a fingerprint sensor which has Moto logo embedded on it.

The device itself isn’t an entirely new product. It launched in Europe a few days back.Ā

Motorola One Fusion+ Specifications

Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. However, few rumours have popped up recently saying that Motorola could slot in a Snapdragon 730G SoC in India but we will have to wait for official info. It features a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.

Motorola One Fusion+ will have a quad-camera setup with a 64MP f/1.8 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP selfie shooter at the front.

The device will also have 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Apart from this, we can expect it to run on the latest Android 10 with Motorolaā€™s custom UI that will have features like Moto Display, Moto Actions like Quick Capture, DND, Media controls and more.

Price and availability

The handset launched at a price tag of ā‚¬299 in Europe, and rumours are rife that Motorola will finally price it at an affordable Rs.15-20K segment which is interesting, to say the least.

As the device is already listed on Flipkart, it is certain the device will be available on the e-commerce platform. However, we will have to wait for official info on availability at offline retail stores.
