A few new details about the Redmi K40 smartphone have appeared on the web. This time, the Chinese regulator TENAA gave the dimensions of the device and new details about the screen.

So, the dimensions of the Redmi K40 are 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8 mm. As you can see, the smartphone turned out to be quite thin for a model with a 4500 mAh battery. Although, hardly anyone would mind increasing the battery capacity at the cost of a couple of extra millimeters.

As for the screen, the source says it uses a 6.67-inch OLED panel with Full HD + resolution with a frame rate of 120 Hz. Earlier rumors attributed a 2K resolution screen to the smartphone, but such a display is likely to go to only the older model of the line – the K40 Pro.

Redmi K40 Pro first hands-on image leaked

A couple of weeks before the announcement, a real photo of the flagship Redmi K40 Pro smartphone has appeared on the Web, which allows us to examine the rear panel of the device in detail.

A few days ago, the Redmi K40 series passed the certification of the PRC Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, so we already know that the Redmi K40 Pro will receive a 6.81-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440p + resolution. It should support a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + high dynamic range.

K40 Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 SoC; and up to 12 GB of RAM, as well as a 5,000 mAh battery. The main camera (in addition to 108 megapixels) uses image sensors with a resolution of 13, 5 and 2 megapixels, the front camera will be 30 megapixels.
