Google Pixel 4a comes in two color options including Just Black and Barely Blue. However, an Instagram post by Made By Google official account has teased a new white-colored smartphone that resembles Pixel 4a. From the picture posted on Instagram, we can see the glimpses of this unreleased smartphone. Well, the launch of Pixel 5a is just a few months away. It is unlikely Google refresh the existing 4a with a new color option. Hence, there is a possibility that it is not Pixel 4a but the Pixel 5a.
The device shown in the picture resembles the existing Pixel 4a. However, it is not completely similar. The power button on this unreleased smartphone resembles the previous Pixel 3 series and is a little different from the Pixel 4a. There is a high chance that this phone is the Pixel 5a. Pixel 5a leaked renders
The leaked renders suggested that the Pixel 5a will have a Pixel 4a 5G design language. For now, we know that Pixel 5a is likely to come with a unibody design made of plastic to save costs. With a measurement of 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm, the device will be thicker if we count the camera module. Pixel 5a will have volume rockers and power buttons on the right side of the smartphone.

It is still unlikely that we will see an in-display fingerprint scanner on the mid-range phone. Hence, the fingerprint scanner will be placed on the backside of the smartphone. However, there is a contradiction between the renders and the glimpse posted on Instagram. The Instagram post suggests we will see a Pixel 4a camera module, but the renders point out at Pixel 4a 5G camera module.
It could be the Pixel 4a in white color option
Initially, the Pixel 4a came only with the Just Black color option. Google unveiled the Barley Blue color option after some time. Hence, it is possible that this phone might not be the Pixel 5a but another color option that might launch soon. Anyway, the white-colored Pixel phone looks amazing. My favorite color scheme was panda (black and white), and I want to see the iconic Pixel 3’s design on future phones as well.
