Samsung Galaxy Quantum2 went official in South Korea. Thanks to its powerful specifications, Samsung fans were wondering if Quantum2 will be released globally or not. The good news is that we might see Quantum2 in the global market shortly. We know the Quantum2 will come as Samsung Galaxy A82 5G in the global market. The promo video was shared by Max Weinbach, a famous tipster. Promo clearly shows the moniker “A82 5G” and the video is less than a 1 minute long. The promo highlights battery, fast charging, and camera capabilities. It doesn’t show anything more. Previously, we saw Galaxy A82 5G being on the list of devices that will get quarterly security updates. Many other reports also claim that Galaxy A82 5G will be a rebranded Quantum2.
If the reports come out to be true, then Samsung will be giving trouble to Chinese smartphones. The A82 5G tackles the low-performance issue on Samsung smartphones. Thanks to the Qualcomm 800-series chipset, it will be really powerful. There are more features as well that will make A82 5G special. Let’s have a look at them below.
Samsung Galaxy A82 5G (Quantum2) Highlights
The Galaxy Quantum2 was launched in South Korea on 13th April. One of the distinguishing features of the phone was its quantum random number generator (QRNG) chip. In a nutshell, this security chip gives your smartphone an extra layer of protection. It is usually related to banking services. However, I am not sure if this chip will make its way to the global version of Galaxy A82 5G. It is not the first time that Samsung has used the QRNG chip. It was also used on the previous generation of Quantum phones.
Moving to the key specifications of the device, the Quantum2 features 6.7 inches Dynamic AMOLED display. The phone also comes with 120Hz high refresh rate support. Coming to the camera department, there is a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 10MP selfie shooter. A 4500mAh battery is present on the phone that supports 25W fast charging. There might be some changes in the global variant of Quantum2. But we still have high hopes for A82 5G. The Galaxy A-series is improving every year. Let us know your opinions in the comments section below.
