It is worth noting that the Redmi K50 gaming edition (or e-sports version) uses a dual VC cooling system. This smartphone will pride as one of the “coolest” Snapdragon 8 Gen1 models in the market.
Furthermore, due to the high cost of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, the price of the K50 e-sports version may be higher than the previous generation. Recall that the previous Redmi K40 gaming edition comes with a 1999 yuan ($315) starting price. Considering that the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 smartphone, Motorola edge X30, is priced at 2,999 yuan ($472), the Redmi K50 gaming edition will have a similar price tag.
