Furthermore, there is no response when pressing answer when a call comes in, and the GPS often fails. On Samsung’s community forums, some users have complained that the device’s GPS function is bad. The complaints claim that the GPS doesn’t work after the first setup, or after a long period of inactivity. At the same time, when using the map navigation, there will also be an error message “GPS not found”. As of the time of the report, a factory setting will not solve the issue.

According to @iceuniverse, the GPS bugs and screen failures of the Galaxy S22 series all happened on the Exynos version. He believes that this chip needs significant optimization. The Exynos 2200 is Samsung’s flagship processor for commercial use in the first half of this year. It is based on Samsung’s 4nm process and adopts a “1+3+4” design. The super core is Cortex X2, the large core is Cortex A710, and the small core is Cortex. A510. Also, the GPU is Xclipse 920 with AMD RDNA 2 architecture.
