Now, Motorola is still adding new variants in the G52 series. However, the Moto G62 5G has started making appearances online. Moreover, it has been subject to multiple leaks lately.

To recall, key details about the Moto G62 and G82 were tipped in April this year. Also, the G62 has already bagged the FCC certification. Now, the G62 5G has appeared on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website. The listing confirms the device’s moniker. Also, it suggests that the 5G-ready phone’s launch is around the corner. Noted tipster Mukul Sharma discovered the Moto G62 5G SIRIM listing.

Mukul shared a screenshot of the SIRIM listing on his Twitter account. Moto G62 5G SIRIM listing shows model number Motorola XT2223. Further, this suggests that the Motorola XT2223 will launch in Asian countries. The device is likely to receive more certifications in other countries soon. Regrettably, the SIRIM listing does not reveal key details about the G62. Nevertheless, it confirms that the new Motorola phone will support 5G. Further, the G62 could boast upgraded specs than its predecessor, the Moto G52.

According to MySmartPrice, the Moto G62 could launch in India. The publication claims the phone could arrive on July 20. Further, it suggests that the G62 will probably retail for INR 17,999. For this price, you get a 6GB RAM+128GB storage model. Now, the upcoming Motorola 5G phone could boast impressive specs. For instance, it might get a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. Furthermore, the Moto G62 will reportedly sport an AMOLED display. This screen is likely to offer a high refresh rate. Moreover, the G62 will reportedly run Android 12 out of the box. This OS will have a layer of MyUX skin on top. For optics, it is likely to feature three rear-mounted cameras. It will probably ship with a 5,000mAh battery unit. This cell could support fast charging. However, the FCC listing mentions a 4,700 mAh battery with a max output of 20 Watts.

So, Motorola could use 20W charging for marketing. Notably, current smartphones support faster charging. In fact, this charging speed is below what the Moto G60S offers. Lastly, the Moto G62 could offer dual-SIM support. Moreover, it will come with NFC, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
