The Huawei P50 has gone up for pre-order in Malaysia. This affordable smartphone targets budget-conscious buyers in the country. To recap, Huawei launched the P50 Pro in Malaysia in January 2022. However, the standard P50 launch detail was scarce at the time. Its been four months since the Pro model made its debut in Malaysia. The phone carried a price tag of RM2999. Further, it comes in Golden Black and Cocoa Gold color options.
Now, months after launching the P50 Pro in Malaysia, Huawei has unveiled the Huawei P50 in the country. To recap, the P50 Pro was launched in China for a starting price of 5,488 yuan. This converts roughly to about $866. The Huawei P50 is currently available for pre-order in Malaysia. You can place your pre-order and get a free product. Notably, you get a free Huawei FreeBuds Lipstick if you pre-order the phone before May 27. Moreover, you get Huawei Mobile Services and freebies.
Overall, you can get goodies worth up to RM1000 with your Huawei P50 pre-order. Further, you can place your order through Huawei’s official website. The phone is available in Cocoa Gold and Black color options. Alternatively, you can pre-order it from Lazada and Shopee. Now, the standard P50 is a feature-laden smartphone. In fact, it boasts nearly the same specs as its Pro counterpart. However, it sports a shorter 6.5-inch OLED display.

Aside from this, it has a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. Lastly, there’s a 12MP telephoto lens with a digital zoom of up to 50x. This is a sufficiently good array of cameras.
Moreover, the P50 packs a smaller 4100mAh battery to draw the juices. This cell supports 66W SuperCharge technology. It is worth mentioning here that the P50 Pro new comes in a new color option. The Huawei P50 Pro Silver Blue variant is now up for grabs. Also, the phone’s price has been reduced to RM3699. For this price, you get the 8GB RAM+256GB storage model. Interested buyers can still place a pre-order for the P50 Pro until June 3. Moreover, they get a free Huawei Band 6, which usually retails for RM219.
An earlier report suggests that Huawei could launch a 5G custom version of the P50 soon. In the meantime, you can pre-order the standard Huawei P50 in Malaysia.
