Vivo X90 series will improve in the battery department

Today, the tipster revealed the battery capacity of the Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. All phones will stick with dual-cell technology. That’s a common measure nowadays. After all, two batteries can split the stress that comes from fast-charging technology. Therefore, the X90 will bring a 4,700 mAh battery, while the X90 Pro will come with a 4,870 mAh battery. The X90 Pro+, as the king of the family, gets the huge 5,000 mAh battery.

In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Vivo X90 Pro+ will bring other advancements. For instance, the chip brings LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 of internal storage. The phone will also bring a Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with curved edges. Moving around to the back, the device has a 1-inch camera sensor and a 64 MP main camera. The phone will have Optical Image Stabilization, and offer 5x optical zoom. Moreover, we expect Vivo to bring a new iteration of its custom ISP, the Vivo V2.

Vivo X80

As for the Vivo X90 Pro and X90, we expect a Dimensity variant and maybe one with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. However, only the time we tell. Anyway, we don’t think Vivo will simply scrap the Vivo X80 Pro+. If the device was really coming, then we may see it with a different name. One of the two lesser X90 variants may end up being a rebranded Pro+.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will appear in mid-November. As per the reports, Vivo will be among the first to launch a flagship with it. So we can see the Vivo X90 family appearing in late November, or in December. Of course, the leaks will cover us with specifications ahead of the launch.
