Xiaomi 13 will be released on December 1, 2022 alongside MIUI 14

Xiaomi 13

The Xiaomi 13 was rumored to come in November, but it now appears that the manufacturer has set a specific date for the launch of its new flagship: December 1. It’s also the chance to also introduce MIUI 14. Which we expect to appear on a number of its handsets in the days to follow.

The Xiaomi 13’s arrival is imminent, although there is still no official confirmation. The leaker, Kartikey Singh, appears to have confirmed information. He claims on Twitter that the new Chinese flagship would be unveiled on December 1. Therefore, it would be a release date that was a little later than what was initially reported by the leaks, who instead predicted a presentation in November.

Due to the manufacturer’s past strategy in this area, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra should launch a little later than the other models. As of right now, all we know is that it should be available at the start of 2023. No later than the first quarter. Therefore, we should wait a little more in order to see the high-end model of the new series.

MIUI 14

The availability of MIUI 14 at the same time as the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro is another intriguing piece of information revealed by Kartikey Singh. Except for the potential removal of the user interface ads, the UI hasn’t received much attention yet. Therefore, the announcement of its release date is excellent for users of other smartphones that can receive the update.

Regarding the Xiaomi 13, it’s not the leaks that have been scarce lately. We got full information regarding the Pro variant in September, along with its technical specifications. Which prominently mentions a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Finally, take note that the manufacturer may decide to change the name and switch all of its smartphones to the Xiaomi 20. Probably in a few days, we will get a definitive response.
