iQOO 11

iQOO enthusiasts across the world were expecting today’s big party in China. The company was expected to introduce the new flagship iQOO 11 and the premium mid-range iQOO Neo 7 SE. However, the company has decided to postpone the event, as previously speculated. The company wants to give people time to grieve with respect to Jian Zemin, the former general secretary of the Chinese Communist Part. Now, the two new devices will reach the Chinese market on December 8. The big news comes from iQOO Indonesia’s Instagram account. Apparently, the company will launch the phone in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China on the same date.

iQOO 11 delayed, will launch on December 8

The rumor mill didn’t forgive the iQOO 11 or the iQOO Neo 7 SE. The two devices have been targets of multiple leaks during the past weeks. The iQOO 11 will be the first phone to reach global markets with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is expected to bring up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. Moreover, the phone will bring LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage standard. There will be an AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The flagship will draw its power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging and will run Android 13 OS straight out of the box.

Gizchina News of the week

The iQOO 11 will launch alongside a Pro variant. That one may have similar specs with 200W fast charging and a smaller 4,700 mAh battery. The iQOO Neo 7 SE is the least of the two. It will run with the Dimensity 8200 SoC. However, that is one of the few differences between this and the regular variant. It will also get an AMOLED screen and a capable camera setup. The phone will also have a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W charging.

The company published a short teaser to announce the delay of the iQOO 11 series. The video confirms the new date for December 8. Until then, we expect even more details to pop out. The phone’s specs probably won’t be a surprise by that date.
