iPad mini rumours have surfaced this time concerning the new
7 inch Apple tablet's reported
specification, but if reports are true the
iPad mini could
cost more and have a lower spec than the
Google Nexus tablet!
Although I was originally pretty convinced that
Apple would not release a smaller
7 inch iPad mini tablet, the rumours and
leaked accessories which have been showing up seems to suggest otherwise.
The latest
iPad mini news suggests that the
7 inch iPad will feature the same
specification as the previous generation
iPad 2, meaning a dual-core 1Ghz
Apple A5 CPU, and low quality VGA cameras both from and rear but in a smaller 7.85-inch package.
If the rumors are true then the new
mini iPad is going to
cost more and offer lower performance than
Google's Nexus 7 tablet which features a quad-core Tegra 3 CPU and is manufactured by Asus.
It will also be the first time Google and Apple go head to head in the tablet market at similar price points! I wonder who is going to come out on top? The low-cost high performance Nexus or the slightly costlier and lower spec iPad mini?
