OnePlus 15 Leak Reveals Massive 7300 mAh Battery and 100W Fast Charging

OnePlus 15 is expected to launch with one of the biggest batteries seen in a flagship phone. A new leak from a reliable source claims the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered device will pack a massive 7,300 mAh battery. This size marks a major jump over its predecessor.

Bigger Battery, Faster Charging

The new leak comes from popular Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, who says the OnePlus 15 will use a dual-battery setup made up of two 3,575 mAh cells. This setup should let the phone charge faster and stay cooler while doing it. It also means the global version of the phone is unlikely to see a smaller battery. This is a common issue for international releases of Chinese flagships.

If accurate, the 7300 mAh capacity represents a big upgrade from the 6000 mAh unit inside the OnePlus 13. The same source adds that the new model will support 100W wired fast charging. Earlier reports also hinted at 50W wireless charging, making it one of the most flexible charging systems in the Android space.

Other Models in the Lineup

And this insider, Digital Chat Station, also dropped some info on two other OnePlus phones coming out. Apparently, the Ace 6 is likely going to be launched worldwide as the OnePlus 15R. The device could feature an even larger 7600 mAh battery. The third model, rumoured to be called the OnePlus Turbo, might push capacity further to 7800 mAh.

Even though OnePlus hasn't spilt the official details yet, these leaks tell us one thing for sure. The company is going all-in on battery life and charging speeds for these new phones.

What About the Screen?

The same tipster also revealed some details about the displays. All three of the new phones will sport flat screens made by BOE, and they'll feature a crazy-fast 165 Hz refresh rate. OnePlus already confirmed this high-speed screen tech for the flagship OnePlus 15, which means you can expect games and general use to look incredibly smooth.1
