Viewsonic Viewpad 7x Arriving In Time for Christmas?

The festive season is almost upon us, and as with every year electronics companies are clambering over one another to launch their latest gadgets in time for Christmas.

Asus will have their Transformer Prime on shelves next month, Meizu plan to have the MX ready and now Viewsonic have hinted their latest 7-inch Android tablet will be on sale for the holidays.

The Viewsonic Viewpad 7 has a 7” 1024×600 display with a dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, so we can already tell that this isn't going to be in the same price range as the Amazon Kindle Fire or the new Nook Tablet.

There are also a 5MP/2MP rear/front-facing camera, 8GB of internal memory and will run on Android’s Honeycomb 3.2.

Price is expected to be around $379 which is almost $200 more than the Kindle Fire, but judging by the high-end specification the extra money might be worth it.
