The upcoming
Xiaomi 17T Series has appeared in new regulatory filings, giving an early look at what
Xiaomi is preparing for launch. The lineup is expected to include two models: the standard
Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. Both phones bring strong hardware upgrades, faster charging, and camera improvements. The standard version is expected to support 67W fast charging, while the Pro model could offer 100W fast charging for quicker top-ups.
The popular Weibo tipster,
@smartpikachu, shared a couple tidbits about the new smartphones, and we can see the highlights below.
Xiaomi 17T Series Brings Big Displays and Powerful MediaTek Chips
The global version of the
Xiaomi 17T Series is expected to offer two display sizes. Users may get either a 6.6-inch display for the vanilla and a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K+ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate for the Pro variant. This should deliver smoother visuals for gaming, scrolling, and video playback.
Under the hood, the phones are rumored to use MediaTek Dimensity 8500 and Dimensity 9500 processors, offering flagship-level speed and efficiency.
Leica Cameras Could Be a Major Highlight
Interestingly, the camera capabilities seem to be a major focus for Xiaomi once again. While this lineup is more cost-effective than the regular numbered flagships, the new 17T series won't disappoint in any regard. As per the reports, the full lineup is expected to feature Leica-branded cameras with a 5X periscope telephoto lens for better zoom photography.
The
Xiaomi 17T Pro could also include a 50MP main camera with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, which should improve low-light performance and image quality.
