US Phone Company Vizio targets China with new phones


You may know Vizio from two years ago when they announced at CES to release the Vizio phone, an android phone that slowly died to never be remembered, they later decided to release some computers that received the same fate as the Vizio phone.

But with 2013 here and Vizio have tried yet again to jump in to the phone market with 2 new phones, but this time for the Chinese market.

But today at CES 2013 they unveiled a 1080p and a 720p phones targeted for consumers in China.

The first phone is a  5-inch laminated screen 1080p device  running Android Jelly Bean rom while the other one is  a 4.7-inch laminated screen 720p device with dual sim capabilities also running stock Android Jelly Bean rom .

The 4.7-inch phone has a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek chip with 1GB of RAM the chip for this phone is likely to be the MT6577 processor, while the body is make of a white plastic monocoque that feels like ceramic.

The other 5-inch phone features a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor with 2 GB of ram. As both phones are intended for China they only support 3G networks

Also to accommodate their consumers in China, they included apps like Autonavi maps, Baidu search  and HiMarket a third-party app store.
