Meizu MX3 to be launch on September 28 in Beijing?

Meizu are expected to launch their next generation flagship phone ahead of schedule this year and we could see the Meizu MX3 as soon as September 28th!

Meizu traditionally launch their phones later in the year in preparation for the Chinese New Year holidays, however due to continued pressure and the success of rivals such as Oppo and Xiaomi, Meizu could be forced to launch earlier.

Gizchina News of the week

New reports suggest that we will get our first look at the 8-core Samsung Exynos Octa 5 powered MX3 at 8pm on September 28th. The venue is again the Beijing water cube which is also where the Meizu MX2 launched.

From leaked details the new Meizu should feature 2GB RAM, 5.1-inch 1080 display and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera. We are also expecting a new radical design change which will allow easy use of the phone when held in one hand (let’s just hope the render above isn’t it!)

I hope the timing is true, I’d love to see the new Xiaomi and Meizu phones announced right around the same time, so I can choose the better of the 2. I don’t have a loyalty towards either, so I’m excited to see the final specs and choose one.

What the Fug is this? A 5,1 inch screen? Thats Phablet size. And the improvement of the Octa-core S4 over the Quad-core one is allmost not noticeable but it wastes more energy.
The render looks very good to me, so I hope they’ll also release a compact Version with not more than 4,5 inches

It looks very nice and has some great features. But I have found it to be buggy in the past.
