Xiaomi Tablet is name “Purple Rice”, will support 23 languages?

According so insider news at Xiaomi the Xiaomi Tablet is name the “ZiMi” or in English “Purple Rice”.

The name would fit in to the new naming strategy at Xiaomi which has the entry level handset known as the “Red Rice” (Hong Mi). The mystery tipster has also gone on to say the the Purple Rice tablet will have a 7-inch 720p display, 1.2Ghz Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB memory, and 4000mAh battery.

In addition the tablet is said to support 2G and 3G Networks , but most interestingly of all will have 23 languages built-in to it’s MIUI ROM at launch! Current versions of MIUI from Xiaomi currently only support Chinese and English! Could this mean that Xiaomi will be spreading their wings further still from August 16th? We wait with bated breath!
