Developers to get 100% revenue from sales at the Meizu appstore

In a bid to encourage better development for its appstore, China’s Meizu will be making no profit from sales through its appstore, while developers will get 100% of the revenue.

Like most other smartphone vendors from China, Meizu has its own appstore where everything from applications to themes can be downloaded by Meizu users. However, unlike most other companies, Meizu has announced it will not be cutting a slice from the developers profits, which is bound to attract more developers to the Meizu appstore.

Meizu also offer an SDK for easier app development, which can be downloaded at developer.meizu.com. The Meizu appstore can be accessed at app.meizu.com. With their ambitions of going global, we can expect English versions of both these sites sooner rather than later.
