Doesnt it support fullHD? None is fullHD here..

    • March 3, 2014

No, the MT6582 only support 720p

        March 3, 2014

Did you find out about that G2F resolution change?

        • March 3, 2014

I’ve been told that the WCDMA version is getting a lower res display, but I don’t want to belive it, getting final confirmation from the big boss tomorrow.

It’s a comprehensive list, but not exactly “Top” of anything. These phones top out at 720p, and there are 6589 and 6589T phones out there with 1080p screens that are in the same price range as the deprecated phones listed above.

The processor itself tops out at 720p,so yeah,it was never mean’t to be hawked at prices near MT6589T but some people are doing it.

Are phones that use 512mb ram paired with quad cores still “okay” options?

    • March 3, 2014

why bother? there are other options for similar prices with more memory.

Fork for a GB if you can,at least.

    • March 3, 2014

A little extra for a 1GB or 2 would be well worth it.

Just something that I notied about the ZTE Q501U

It is WCDMA and has 850/900/1900/2100 bands.

I know it only has 512mb ram or low resolution. But it has a very good
range of the WCDMA bands and will work in the US, Canada, Asia, South America?
