Xiaomi have publicly confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi3S will be launching later this year!
Across Xiaomi’s social networking profiles (Facebook, Twitter etc) the Beijing based phone maker asked fans late last night:
Mi Fans! Want to guess the specs for the new Mi3S?
Confirmation that the Xiaomi Mi3S is a reality and that it is possibly nearing a launch date. Hundreds of fans have gotten involved with the thread with them all generally agreeing they want to see 4G LTE support, Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM (the exact specs the OnePlus One is already confirmed to have).

Although the news was generally well accepted there were also complaints from international Xiaomi fans;“Why ask us if we cannot buy it?”being the general gist of things.

1+1 does not have complete Lte coverage I suspect that’s what fans mean by 4g/lte
I dont care about 4G LTE but the processing prowess is superb.
And of course again, no card slot.
Why do people buy powerful phone if it can’t do anything meaningful for the spec?
At least OnePlus One will be available in North America and Europe 🙂 Xiaomi may be able to sell their phones for cheaper though…

“Who cares when internationals cant buy one anyway.” All those that have said that on Facebook have the biggest and most important point. Even the smaller Chinese company’s are opening stores across Europe and OnePlus are going global straight away. Xiaomi are small time and afraid of going international
