KingZone Z1 spy photos! Boasts MT6752 chipset

KingZone are one of the great surprise brands on China for 2014, their phones so far have been great quality and they now have hordes of happy customers. Next up from the brand is the new KingZone Z1 with 64bit chipset.

With all these new MT6752 phones hitting the market we will soon have to update our list of 18 64bit phones which we posted a few days back!

Gizchina News of the week

Leaked by reseller Efox, these photos show what KingZone have in store for fans of the brand (and Chinese phones in general). The KingZone Z1 promises to be a well spec’d Mediatek phone with FDD-LTE 4G support, 13 mega-pixel Sony IMX214 rear camera and 8 mega-pixel front sensor. While the rear has a fingerprint scanner for security.

Up front the screen is a 5.5-inch HD display, which shouldn’t push the GPU to hard and will help to keep the very sensible 3500mAh battery trucking on all day long!

Both black and whit version of the phone will be launched in around February of 2015. Pricing and the rest of the hardware is still unconfirmed.

Little desapointed … i thought it will be with a nice aluminium body like his brother the K1 …

It’s not a flagship, so I guess that’s to be expected.

These first pics dt show the thin and metallic body of the K1…
This looks more like plastic and fake aluminium, but maybe i am wrong…

Kind of hard to tell from these pics what the body is made of. Kingzone has almost exclusively used metallic bodies so I have to believe this one will be too.

Erm…sorry but the phone in the video isn’t Kingzone z1…it’s the N3! The z1 will come with 5.5″, not 5.0″. Just check in 2:28. 🙂

I was looking at this video yesterday and noticed when they were showing the firmware in ‘about phone’ it actually said model number N3 so not convinced it’s the Z1 at all. After the excellent K1 I thought this would at least have had a FHD screen, also it’s the slower 1.5GHz clocked version of the chip. I think this is a shame and as such the Jiayu is much better value in my eyes otherwise I would have another Kingzone phone in a heart beat.

Mali T760 on this mediatek chipset is not very suitable for FHD screen

What? A Mali T760-gpu is about as good as an Qualcomm Adreno 320 GPU, which are put in the Snapdragon 600. They can very much handle a FHD screen, right? What makes you think it doesn’t?

PS. Phones that will use the same set-up:”
        JiaYu S3
        Orgtec Waphone
        Vivo V5 Max
        many more

          Mali-T760 MP2 on mt6752 at 700MHZ can handle 47.6 gflops
Adreno 320 on SP600 at 400MHZ can handle 86.4 gflops
also Tegra K1 at 850MHZ handles 326 gflops

But the Mali-450MP4 can runs fine FHD on MTK6592, on 41.8 gflops, so i guess Mali-T760 will do fine on MTK6752.

              sure, but just casual games
my previous xperia z with Adreno 320 (57.6 GFLOPS) couldn’t run games like modern combat5 or asphlat8 on high graphics, also had a FHD screen
mali T760mp2 is not a big upgrade from Mali 450mp4

There’s a video of the Cube T7, running those games and does pretty well, and have a 1920x1080p, I hope it will run some games fine for the next year and today graphical demands, but of course on 720p phones we gonna note more perfomance on it.

I owned the Kingzone K1 for about 6 months and it was an excellent phone, it was my work phone and I never had any problems with it. I replaced it with a Doogee DG 2014 but there was no reason to replace it, I was just bored lol.
