ZUK might be a little on the quiet side these days, but over in China they are offering some decent saving and new designs.

Originally only available in White or Grey, the ZUK Z1 has now been launched in a limited edition Sandalwood version in China. The Sandalwood backed phone features a wood grain rear panel with a black face.

The updated look is matched with an updated version of ZUK’s own ZUI version 1.6 Android system which is based on Android 6.0.1.

The ZUK Z1’s specs remain the same with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, 4100mAh battery, 8 mega-pixel front camera, and 13 mega-pixel rear camera. Chinese shoppers also get the benefit of a new retail price of only 1599 Yuan.

looks nice, but come on Zuk, come out with the new stuff already. I’d even buy an older Z1 if they released an international version with US bands

I think they are squeezing the last bit of their initial invertion in that Z1 model… They should just update that one with 4gbRam, newer SoC and better Tech back camera,,, it could remain a 13 mpx as long as some of those tricks in the new galaxy cameras and the nexus 6p DO show up also here
