Blackberry’s new all-touch smartphone, the Blackberry motion will be up for sale later in the month in the UAE and Saudi Arabia at about $460 USD. Just hours into the Dubai unveiling, a likely European pricing has just popped up on an e-commerce listing. What price is needed to get the BB motion in Europe? Read on to find out.
As spotted on Dutch retailer Belsimpel website, the BB motion with 4000mAh battery is listed at €499 which is quite close to what you have to pay in UAE and Saudi Arabia where the device is expected to retail for $460 USD. The Dutch retailer Belsimpel presently has no stock of the device, but we could expect to see the device stocked soonest.
To recap, the Blackberry Motion is the successor to the Blackberry KeyOne and its first all-touch smartphone. It has a metal unibody with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage expandable via micro SD card slot and runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
The device comes packed with a 4000 mAh non-removable battery and also houses a fingerprint scanner on the physical home button just below the display. Camera-wise, the device has a 12MP f/2.0 camera on the back and an 8MP selfie camera upfront. The device is IP67-certified against dust and water and it is dual SIM enabled.
