Gionee F205L gets TENAA’s certification

Gionee recently unveiled 8 smartphones with little or no bezels around the display. It was believed that the company would be ending the year with those phones, but we are all wrong as a new smartphone from the company seems to be in the works.

In yet another sign of an imminent launch, a Gionee branded device with codename Gionee F205L, a possible plus sized variant of the Gionee F205 has now surfaced on the TENAA certification site in China.

As per the listing, the device which looks quite similar to the Gionee F205 with some minor changes will arrive with a 5.45-inch display with a screen resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels and an unknown quad-core processor with a clock speed of a 1.3GHz.

The RAM size of the device is listed as 2GB, while internal memory is 16GB. There will be  single camera module on both sides – an 8MP main camera and a 5MP front shooter. With dimensions of 148.4 × 70.7 × 7.95mm and weighing in at 136g, the Gionee F205L will come fitted with a 2,670mAh battery and runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Color options for the Gionee F205L include Liushajin, Ice Sea Blue, and Glass Red. We currently have no clue on its pricing and even release date, but having received TENAA’s certification, the launch date may just be around the corner.
