Weeks after launching the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with just 64GB of internal storage, Samsung mobile today have decided to up its ante with the launch of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with 128GB and 256GB storage option in the USA market. These variants come in handy if you desire more storage space for more multimedia content, including those gorgeous Super Slow-mo videos.
What is most interesting is that these variants with more storage spaces much like the 64GB variant supports memory expansion of up to 400GB via microSD cards. That implies you will be parading a device with a total of 656GB storage space if you opt for the Galaxy S9 or S9+ with 256GB built-in. That’s more than enough if you ask me.
The new variants will become available to pre-order from 1 – just a day before the arrival of the LG G7 ThinQ and will be released on May 18. Sadly, these new variants will be sold exclusively through Samsung.com in Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, and Midnight Black color option at $769.99 and $819.99 for the Galaxy S9 with 128GB and 256GB storage respectively, while the Plus sized variant with 128GB and 256GB will go for $889.99 and $939.99 in that order.
For consumers who pre-order or purchase a Galaxy S9 or S9+ in any storage option on Samsung.com from May 1 through May 17, will receive their choice of either a free Gear IconX (2018) or the ability to purchase a buy a Gear S3 Frontier for $99.
