Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event for November 5th in China where it will take the wrap off the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. But alongside the device with a 108MO camera sensor, the Chinese brand also confirmed it will be launching a Mi TV, and a Xiaomi Watch all at the event.
First, the upcoming Mi watch appeared in a dummy teaser that suggests it will be an Apple Watch copy cat, and now, we are treated to a fresh teaser that confirms the same. Overall, the Xiaomi watch will come in a rectangular shape.
The teaser image posted by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun reveals the Mi Watch in Black and Silver colors with matching bands showing off its design. Notably, there is the Apple Watch-like crown on the right side, with a second button right below it.
Details about the upcoming watch from Xiaomi are still very scarce. However, there are speculations it will adopt the Mi Watch or Xiaomi Watch moniker. And whatever name the brand decides to adopt, there are good chances it will be based on Google’s Wear OS platform.
Reports also have it that the Mi Watch will get a cellular version with eSIM support, while it will cost slightly more than the Amazfit GTS. More details will definitely creep-in in the coming days, so do check back here often.
