Redmi Note 10 Pro price leaked: Is it really a “Pro”?

We are getting new leaks of the Redmi Note 10 every day. But most of these leaks are about the vanilla Redmi Note 10. We haven’t seen much news of the Pro version of the Redmi Note 10 series. To recall, we expect Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro as well as Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Finally, today’s leak is about the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The box of Note 10 Pro is leaked showing the highlights of the device as well as the pricing of Note 10 Pro is leaked.

We are expecting the Note 10 Pro to come in several variants including 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and all the way to 8GB with 128GB internal storage. For now, the base variant pricing has leaked. According to the leak, The 6GB+64GB variant will be priced at $279 for the global market. Let’s also check out the Note 10 Pro’s specifications and if this leaked price is acceptable for the specs given or not.

Redmi Note 10 Pro specifications

The Redmi Note 10 Pro’s box has leaked and it shows specifications. Previously, the leaked box only showed the top of the box. But this time it shows the device with the sticker showing some highlights of the device. First of all, the Note 10 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch SuperAMOLED display. The leak does not mention if the display supports a higher refresh or not. Coming to performance, the Pro version is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G. We also saw it on POCO X3, and it is just a Snapdragon 730G with some tweaks.

Unfortunately, we will be getting the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The hands-on video of vanilla Note 10 also showed a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Well, it’s obvious they had to cut costs and it is the first time the Redmi Note series is using an AMOLED display. Maybe they will throw-in the fancy features next time. There is a 5000mAH battery that can be fast-charged at 30W. Now, this leak seems a little fishy, since the Note 10 Pro was supposed to come with 33W fast charging. But still, the Snapdragon 732G and SAMOLED display were already expected.

Is this phone really a “pro”?

I think these specifications do not really sound ‘Pro’. These specifications were suitable for Redmi Note 10S. As you know, Redmi launched Note 9, Note 9S, and Note 9 Pro in the global market last time. It could be possible that this “Note 10 Pro” comes as Note 10S and the Note 10 Pro Max (Indian version) comes as Note 10 Pro in the global market. These are just my speculations.
