HarmonyOS will go global next year

In a recent interview in Romania, Derek Yu, head of Huawei’s consumer business in the region, said that global users will get HarmonyOS in 2022. This is the first time that a Huawei executive is talking about the global launch of HarmonyOS. Presently, the company released an upgraded EMUI 12 system for global users. Apparently, global users will remain on EMUI until next year. According to the Huawei executive, after migration from Android, the overall performance improves by 10%.
