Apple introduces an upgraded iPad 10 with eSIM support in China

Apple has introduced an upgraded version of the 10th generation iPad in China, now equipped with eSIM support. It is important to note that in China, there is currently only one mobile operator, China Unicom, that allows the use of eSIM.

Starting from October 19, 2023, Chinese users will have the opportunity to pre-order the device. And the official sales will commence on October 25.

It is essential to consider that only one specific variant of the iPad supports eSIM in China, namely the 10th generation iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) with the model number A3162. Other iPad and iPhone models do not offer eSIM support within the Chinese market.

The device features a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. Boasting a resolution of 2360×1640 pixels, 500 nits brightness, 264 pixels per inch (PPI), and True Tone display technology.
