Today, the brand is introducing an intriguing smartphone in the Russian market, the Vivo T2. At first glance, this is a common mid-range phone with LTE connectivity, but upon further inspection we can see that it is a rebadged Vivo V27e

Vivo T2 Launches in Russia with Familiar Specifications

The Vivo T2 arrives in Russia (Source) and it’s identical to the Vivo V27e which has been available in the country. The Vivo T2 available in Russia differs from the versions sold in India and China. The strategy behind this launch remains unclear. Perhaps, Vivo is launching the same phone under a new name in order to attract more attention over it. In any case, it’s an interesting package of specifications that should still cater attention of users in the mid-range phone market.

The only difference between the new Vivo T2 and the VivoV27e is a green color option that arrives with the former. Both smartphones have a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 64 MP main camera and 32 MP selfie shooter. Even the prices are the same for both smartphones. The Vivo T2 has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. With ample storage space, you can store numerous games, and the high RAM capacity enhances multitasking.

The device sells for RUB 27,999 ($297), which matches the Vivo V27e with the same RAM and Storage.

The Vivo T2 boasts a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone boasts the MediaTek Helio G99 which has 2 x ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and 6 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. In terms of optics, the phone has a triple-camera with a 64 MP main camera with OIS and PDAF. The device has a 2 MP macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 32 MP shooter.

The Vivo T2 draws its powers from  4,600 mAh battery with 66W fast-charging. With this battery, users can use the phone for long hours without needing to charge. But if you still needs to charge after intense usage, it will be quick thanks to the 66W charging. The device has a under-display fingerprint scanner which is a rarity in this segment. The device runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
