Octacore Meizu Blue Charm Note teaser! Meizu to attack Xiaomi

The Xiaomi Redmi Note is everywhere on the web, what better time for Meizu to attack than tease their own octacore Note model.

The above image speaks of an alleged octacore Meizu model called the Blue Charm Note (not the first time we have heard this name). The phone looks to be a direct competitor to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note and the first shot across the bow by rival Meizu.

Specifications listed on the teaser include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, octacore MT6592 processor, 8 mega-pixel camera and Flyme 3.0. The 8MP camera might seem like a downgrade compared to the Redmi Note’s 13MP, but Meizu have some great things with camera optimisation, if the MX3 is anything to go by then the Blue Charm Note will have a very capable sensor.

The price has been obscured but we know the Meizu Blue Charm will cost in the 1000 Yuan range. After months of octacore smartphones, Meizu could be the first to really make a splash!
