This Week on GizChina
Finally a week where Xiaomi didn't launch a new smartphone or spread
rumors about an upcoming one, which is kind of a news in and of itself. They did release other devices though, such as the second gen
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, the
Xiaomi Router 4C with four antennas and a
smart trashcan - yes, you read that correctly!
As if the cutting-edge Oppo Find X wasn't expensive enough, the Chinese phone maker just released a new
Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition for a whopping $1462, but hey, you do get a nice shiny Lambo logo on the back, plus a pair of O-Free wireless earphones!
From Oppo we also have some leaked images of the upcoming
Oppo R17 with a tiny "beauty tip", basically a top notch with just a camera, as well as rumors about
Oppo F9 Pro with a very similar design.
Lenovo
Xiaomi wasn't the only company releasing a brand new affordable gaming laptop. Lenovo did indeed just follow up with the latest
Lenovo Savior Y7000P at around $970.
The
Huawei's Mate 20 lineup is apparently getting very close as more rumors and
leaks surf the web every other day. In the past week we have learned
some interesting details about the handsets such as the possible presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner, wireless charging,
camera setups and more; all features most likely to be available on the Mate 20 Pro.

Meizu
Only a couple days left till the much awaited, rumored and hyped
Meizu 16 series gets unveiled on August 8, 2018. The smartphone is expected to
pack all sorts of high-end specs from in-display fingerprint scanner to a flagship Snapdragon 845 CPU.
