Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and a “modern” Nokia 3310 will be unveiled at MWC 2017

Don’t know about you, but these news sound like Christmas to me, given the fact that I grew up owning several Nokia smartphones along the way. So, according to recent information HMD Global plans to unveil two new Android smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2017 and…  a “modernized” version of the iconic Nokia 3310 model!

If what Venture Beat tells us is true, the Finnish company will unveil 2 Android smartphones named Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. The Nokia 5 model will be presumably equipped with a 5.2-inch 720p display, 2 GB of RAM, and a 12 MP rear camera, with a price that will range from 200-220$, and the Nokia 3 will cost around 150$ and it will be aimed towards the entry-level market. Also – in case you were interested- Nokia 6 will also be displayed during the event, even though it’s currently available only in China.

However, the grand success of the event will be – hands down- the unveiling of a modernized edition of the Nokia 3310 model, that was originally launched back in 2000 (yes, 17 years ago), and became one of the best selling feature phones of all times, with more that 100 million units sold worldwide! We know nothing yet about this new, modernized edition apart from its rumored price that will be only 60$!

HMD Global has already informed us that it will host a special event on February 26 in Barcelona, and all the models that will be unveiled there, will be available to the European markets.
