Samsung announced this year that there will be no new Galaxy Note. The main reason for this step is the lack of components, they say the company does not have enough components to release all the devices and it was decided to pause the release of the phablet with stylus support. This is hard to believe and, most likely, the reason is the poor sales of the Galaxy Note 20 series.
Fans of this series were unhappy and even organized a signature collection for a petition, where Samsung offered to release the Galaxy Note 21 in 2022 and skip the Galaxy S22 release. It would be naive to think that the company will do just that. Moreover, there is a prediction that the Galaxy Note series may go to the “cemetery” of discontinued series.
Thus, an online informant with the nickname Front Tron announced that the update in the Galaxy Note family will not happen next year either. Moreover, there is reason to believe that this line will be forgotten and the Galaxy Note 20 has become the last device in its series.
The thing is that one of the main features of the Galaxy Note is support for an electronic pen. But now the owners of the Ultra-version of the Galaxy S series can work with the stylus, and the company’s folding devices received the same functionality. It makes no sense to release another device with support for an electronic pen, and Samsung has nothing to offer something strikingly different in characteristics from other flagships of the company.
Sorry Note fans, Galaxy Note is dead. No more new products on bar type Note Series as of now. Instead, Samsung is calling the Z Fold3 as the “NoteZ” themselves. Check out this official unboxing video from Samsung Korea.
Fans are ready to sacrifice the Galaxy S22 series for the Galaxy Note 21
It might be a crazy idea, but there are those who think Samsung should release an update to the Galaxy Note series in the first half of next year. If you thought that enthusiasts want the company to announce the Galaxy S22 series; and, for example, the Galaxy Note 21 at the same time, then you are wrong. The idea is much more creative and radical.
The initiators of the petition consider it a good idea if the company skips the Galaxy S22 line next year, and instead offers new devices from the Galaxy Note series. They believe that the company could alternate the release of flagships. For example, this year it will release an update to the Galaxy S series, and next year it will skip the release of devices within this line, but will introduce something new in the Galaxy Note family.
