Remember a few months back when we got some eye’s on time with the very attractive
LeTv? Well, if
rumours are accurate the company could be looking to reduce the price to just 2999 Yuan in a price
war against the
new Xiaomi
TV.
Xiaomi have target on their back. First
Meizu goes on an all out price
war against the company by slashing prices of its MX2 quad-core phone, and now online video streaming service
LeTV are on the
war path!
According to
rumours LeTv are planning to
launch the X50, a scaled down version of the X60 we saw here, with reduced price of 2999 Yuan. If this is the case then it is likely that the X50 will get the same hardware as it’s bigger brother meaning a 1.7Ghz Qualcomm S4 prime
CPU, Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB
RAM. In comparison the Xiaomi
TV offers a smaller 47-inch 3D display and more powerful
Snapdragon 600 processor, and even has LeTv built-in!
An interesting battle, one which could burn some very important bridges.
