Galaxy Z and M Series Get a Boost with One UI 8

Finally, the stable version of Samsung's One UI 8 based on Android 16 is released to more Samsung devices. This particular release is made for devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy M34 and Galaxy F34.

The One UI 8 firmware for versions currently released for the Z Fold 4 and the Z Flip 4 come with the version numbers F936BXXUAIYIF and F721BXXUAIYIF respectively.
This update also includes security patch for October 2025, totalling the file size to 3GB. Currently, the update is rolling out in Asia, Africa and Europe.

Samsung One UI 8 for M34 and F34

As usual, Samsung users in India are currently receiving the One UI 8 for the Galaxy F34 and Galaxy M34 devices. This update also includes security patch for October 2025. Users of these devices will need about 2.3GB of storage space in order to install this particular update.
Just like the foldable devices, the update for the Samsung Galaxy M34 comes with the version number M366BXXUZBYI3 while the F34 update has the version number E366BXXU2BYI4.

One UI 8 Availability

It is worth noting that certain regions and devices may receive the update earlier than others. However, users of these devices living within Asia, Africa and Europe will surely receive the within a few days if they haven't already received it.
Those who haven't yet received the update may have to wait a bit more in other to receive the update via OTA (Over The Air). Also, you can manually check for the update since OTA update notifications may sometimes delay or fail to pop up.
In order to manually check for the update, open the Settings app, navigate to System, then tap of Software Update and allow the system to check for the availability of the new update.
