HarmonyOS

At the Huawei Developer Conference, 2021 held on October 22 last year, the HarmonyOS  3 developer preview was officially released. Huawei said that HarmonyOS 3 continues to innovate around the three core values of system architecture, HyperTerminal, and one-time development/multi-terminal deployment. This brings a comprehensive upgrade of system capabilities and development tools. Recent information out of China claims that HarmonyOS 3.0 will commence internal testing in March.

HarmonyOS 3

Following the schedule of the HarmonyOS 3.0 on Huawei’s official website, the beta version should arrive between January and March. However, considering that we are already over halfway through February, it seems that it may finally be set for March.

As a new generation of smart terminal operating systems, the system architecture of HarmonyOS can realize flexible deployment. This allows smart devices with different memory to communicate in the same language. The HarmonyOS 3 developer preview brings a new flexible deployment automation tool. Device developers can select the required components according to different hardware to complete the operating system assembly.
