JiaYu lists octacore JiaYu G4S and G5S along with the new G5C

Jiayu’s English website has been updated to show 3 new JiaYu models based on old favourites.

JiaYu’s official English website now lists two new octacore phones, the JiaYu G4S and G5S along with a new low-cost MT6582 JiaYu G5C.

Gizchina News of the week

Each model is based on the original JiaYu G4 and G5 with the only change in specifications being the updated to either an octacore 1.7Ghz chipset or, in the case of the JiaYu G5C, and swap to the more cost effective quad-core MT6582 quad-core SoC.

Pricing and release dates have not been announced for any of these models, but expect them to ship very soon.

    That got posted rather fast!

These phones are perfect hardware wise… but the software, I wish Jiayu would release stock android roms for their phones too, like Xiaomi for example. Can’t you communicate that to them Andi ^^ ?

They just need to release kernel source like FAEA is enough. Btw stock run not as good as LeWa OS (which support 4.1.2 with kernel 3.4). LeWa OS for G3 release weekly, support two SIMs, saving RAM and some special features. The only reason for using stock is localization/language I think.

I bought the G3 for somebody else and it has stock Android which utilizes both the sim cards perfectly.
LeWa OS comes with bloatware and a useless launcher. I just like Vanilla Android a lot better 🙂

Yes they are reliable, I ordered mine Thursday a week ago and got it this Monday.
They are very fast and I didn’t even had to pay custom duties!
